Nerve City

Abstract

NerveCity is an innovative and scalable platfrom designed to monitor and track urban enviroments in real time targeting city planners, government agencies, environmental consultants and regular citizens . Nerve city takes data from existing sources including government APIs, satellite imagery, and historical datasets to provide real-time insights into air quality, noise levels, temperature, and humidity. all data processing will adhere to relevant processing standards with designs where users can control each component of the system.

Functionality

Basic overview of the flow

Signup - verification - Choose preffered insights - choose plan - start

Login - access dashboard - view city data - request additional detailed data - download reports

login - access settings - adjust parameters

Features

1) Automated data analysis

2) Visualization all the sources / data will be shown in a interactive map on the app providing a helpful and interactive map for the users as a quick glance

3) Predictive Analysis the sources will be analyzed with historical and real-time data to predict environmental changes days or weeks in advance, supporting mindful decision-making.

4) Crowdsourced Engagement Allow citizens to submit environmental observations via the mobile app. These inputs are validated and checked against avaliable data, ensuring high accuracy and fostering community engagement.

5) Smart city can be Integrated with smart city systems (traffic control, public transport, and energy management) to adjust to operations in response to environmental conditions, such as changing traffic to reduce emissions and can be fitted with sensors in the future to improve on the system.

Scope

To achieve a Minimum Vialble Product (MVP) the basic services will be implemented

Quality Attributes

1) scalability Definition: how easily new functions / features can be added to the existing system without failure and degredation system: the system must be able to handle an increasing number of users and data sources

2) Availability Definition: Continous 24/7 access to the data and system with all of its features system: there will be anti- fail measures and redundancy checks which will enusre it wont go down easily

3) Reliability Definition: How accurate it is with all the data and the services it provides system: the accuracy of the data alongside the levle of correct decision making the system can do

4) Interoperability Definition: the ability of the system to make use of and excahnge data system: seamless integration with the current apps and trends alongside the urban planning sector

Evaluation
